HOW TO START

STEP ONE

Connect an additional monitor or TV to your computer.

Monitors can be connected to a computer via HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, VGA, USB, WI FI.

STEP TWO

Connect an additional keyboard and mouse to the computer.

If necessary, you can connect a microphone, headphones or headset, speakers, web-camera, gaming devices to each workplace.

STEP THREE

After the software is installed and launched, each monitor will display its own desktop and users will be able to work independently on one shared computer and use shared applications.

South Korea decided to use ASTER!

The Ministry of education of South Korea decided to use ASTER in education organizations. ASTER is a part of an HW/SW complex made by a Korean integrator company, especially for computer classes in schools.

applied a new mechanism of assigning cameras for Windows 8/10/11, enabled by default for a new ASTER installation, disabled by default when updating;
fixed an issue where screen might stop refreshing on Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022;
optimized the internal processes of the GUI;
fixed a bug causing error 109 to be raised with no external reason;
solved the problem of incorrect positioning of monitor indications;
implemented a solution for running Steam on more than one workplace without sandboxing, switchable, enabled by default;
fixed the problem of randomly blanking the screens of the other workplaces when user turns off or disconnects its monitor;
small bugs fixes.

2 Workplaces:	If you do not plan to use ASTER for more than 3 years or change the process/hard disk within the next year, then we recommend a Home license, otherwise purchase a Pro-2 license. Important! The home license is an annual subscription license. And, if you renew it or change to a Pro-2 license, you do not get any discounts.
2-5 Workplaces:	For 5 workplaces, you need 2 licenses - Pro-2 and Pro 3: You need to activate the Pro-2 license first in ASTER then activate Pro-3 so that you get a total of 5 workplaces (the number of workplaces is added when you activate multiple licenses on the same computer).
6-8 Workplaces:	For 6-8 workplaces, you need 2 licenses – Pro-6 and Pro-2 (the number of workplaces is added when you activate multiple licenses on the same computer) or one Pro-6 license. Please note that the cost of one Pro-6 license is almost equal to the cost of two Pro-2 licenses. Important! When you have many workplaces from one computer, it will put more load on the system, before adding more workplaces, please read Recommendations for selecting hardware. Before buying a license, you should test all workplaces pretested beforehand using downloading a 14 Days trial.
9-12 Workplaces:	You will need 2 Pro-6 licenses or 1 Pro-6 license and 1 Pro-3 license (depending on the number of workplaces you want to add when activating the license on one system).
